unveiled Just Baby Gifts in 2009. We are extraordinarily

Whether you planning the arrival of a son or daughter, welcoming your child into the world, the proud grandparents of a new bundle of joy, an already-busy mom looking for products that meet your standards of beauty, quality, and safety for your children, or friends, family, co-workers, clients, or anyone else who just wants to send a thoughtful baby gift, at Just Baby Gifts, we can help!
Our company was born after Kelsey Kennon, a flight attendant for Jet Blue and proud new mom of a beautiful baby girl, became frustrated that she couldn't find the unique, beautiful, and safe products she wanted for her new daughter - baby gifts that not only took your breath away but that, once you had seen, you knew you needed to bring into your own home. Combined with the desire to find a way to make extra money to provide a good living so she could support her new family, she began working on ideas to generate income, sometimes working two or three jobs. In the late hours of the night, she came up with the idea of a specialty retailer online that would let her share the products she discovered on her travels throughout the world and make money at the same time.
She approached her brother, Joshua Kennon, a well known financial author and private investor, and his business partner, Aaron Green, a successful graphic design artist. In addition to books and articles that have been read by tens of millions of people through their regular writings at About.com, a division of
The New York Times, the two men had recently founded
Kennon Green Enterprises, LLC for the purpose of designing and operating a collection of high quality e-commerce sites focusing on niche markets. Their other companies had already experienced tremendous success and been featured in major motion pictures, magazines, television shows, and more.
After laying out a business plan and several months negotiating the terms, the three struck a deal that resulted in the formation of a new company, Cherrywood Capital Group, LLC. Through it, JustBabyGifts.com was developed with Kelsey Kennon serving as the President in charge of day-to-day operations and Messrs Kennon and Green serving as advisers and financial backers. Months of intensive coding, graphic design, and product testing ensued until, finally, nearly one year later, the site launched on July 1st, 2009.
